Course Information

What are the course timings?

Core course hours are 10am - 4pm.

We offer an additional hour of supervision at each end of the day for flexibility. Please feel free to drop off anytime from 9am and collect up until 5pm.  During this time we'll be screening age-appropriate films and students may also bring along any books or games they'd like to share or, if they're feeling really keen, some homework they'd like to complete! You do not need to book this.

Where is the course?

We use a number of venues in the Oxford area. Please check the venue in the course details above.

What should my child bring with them?

  • Packed lunch, plus snacks for morning and afternoon break (please choose a healthy balance, and NO NUT-CONTAINING PRODUCTS)

  • Plenty of bottled water

  • Clothing and footwear you can move in comfortably and confidently (soft trainers are ideal)

  • Outdoor accessories as appropriate (e.g. coat/hat, hat/suncream) – please make sure everything is labelled

  • Ages 5-8: Please bring a cover-up (e.g. old shirt) in case we get the paints out

COVID-19 Arrangements

  • Only staff and registered pupils will be admitted to the building

  • Please arrive at the correct time.

  • You may have to queue with 2m distancing outside when you arrive. Please make sure that you are well prepared for the weather (with umbrellas etc as necessary)

  • We may run some class activities outdoors. Please make sure children have warm layers (or sun hats etc.) as appropriate.

  • Children must arrive with their own water bottles, clearly labelled (no access to communal drinking water facilities)

  • Children and staff are not required to wear masks but we support their choice to wear a mask if they prefer .

  • Staff will wear masks in "close-up" situations (e.g. first aid)

  • On arrival, all students and staff will have their temperature taken with a non-contact infrared thermometer

  • DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU OR A MEMBER OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD HAS COVID-19 SYMPTOMS (www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/)

  • Find COVID-19 updates and full guidance, policies and risk assessments here.
